Denomination

Believers of God the Father and creator of all, Jesus Christ, the Son of God and Savior of the world and the Holy Spirit who indwells, seals and is a guarantee of our salvation. One with the body and Christ being the Head. Genesis 1:1; John 1:1-13, 18; Colossians 1:18-20.

Scriptures

All scripture is God breathed and is the inspired word of God without error or contradiction. The word of God is the foundation of our faith. II Timothy 3:16-17 says, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God & profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction and for instruction in righteousness.”

God

God the Father is the creator and sustainer of all. God exist in three persons eternally; Father, Son and Holy Spirit and all being one. Ephesians 4:4; Matthew 3:16; Luke 1:47; II Corinthians 1:21-23.

Jesus

The Son of God eternally was sent to earth through a virgin named Mary by the Spirit of God to die for the sins of mankind. He died a physical death and rose on the third day, glorified in heaven and sent back the Holy Spirit to all who believe in Him by faith through grace, Luke 1:26- 35. Acts 1:8-9; 1 John 15:26-27; John 17:1; John 20:1-31.

Holy Spirit

The indwelling and power of the Holy Spirit is given at salvation. We are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise after one believes. He is the guarantee of our inheritance on the day of redemption. He is there to lead us, teach us and guide us in all truth. Acts 1:8-9; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3:5; Ephesians 1:13-14; 1 John 2:27; II Corinthians 1:22-24, 5:5; Galatians 5:22-23.

Man

Man was created and made in the image and likeness of God. Because of the sin of Adam, all mankind became sinners and now subject to eternal judgment (physically and spiritually). It’s only by grace through faith that salvation is obtained. No degree of merit can save a person. Genesis 1:26-27; John 3;16; John 10:10 Titus 3:6-9.

Salvation

Salvation is the redemption of sins through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It was by God’s grace that He sent His Son as a perfect sacrifice. It is by faith the we believe, confess Jesus is Lord, Romans 10:9-10, repent, Luke 5:32, 13:3, from the heart and receive the Holy Spirit as a seal and guarantee. One must acknowledge to be a sinner in the sight of God and in need of salvation and a savior. Romans 3:23, 5:12; John 3:16 John 10:10; 1 John 2:27; II Corinthians 1:22-24; Romans 5:8, 10:9; I Corinthians 15:3; I Peter 2:24.

Baptism

There is only one baptism, the baptism of the Holy Spirit sent by Jesus Christ from God the Father after Jesus was glorified. John’s baptism was for the nation of Israel and was a foreshadowing of Jesus. John 1:31 says, “And I (John the Baptist) knew Him not, but that He should be made manifest to “Israel”, therefore I come baptizing with water. And I, John bare record saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven, like a Dove, and it abode upon Him And I knew him not: but He (God) that sent me to baptize with water, the same said to me, upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, remaining on Him (Jesus), the same is He (Jesus) which baptizes with the Holy Spirit.“ In the dispensation of Grace under the teaching of Paul to the Gentiles there is only one baptism for the church (body of Christ), Ephesians 4:4; Acts 1:8

A Holy Life

We are to be holy as He is holy. We are to live clean lives, to study, love one another, not to just be hearers of the word, but doers of the word. I Timothy 4:8 says, “For bodily exercise profit little, but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.” 1 Peter 1:16-17; I Thessalonians 4: 1-12; James 1:22-25.

The Dispensation of Grace/ The Church Age

We are no longer under the law of Moses, but rather the law of grace given to Paul for the Gentiles. Jesus came to fulfill the law and having abolished the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in Ordinances, for to make in himself, of two, one new man, so making peace and that He (Jesus) might reconcile both unto God in one body (the church) by the cross having slain the enmity thereby, and came and preached peace to you, which were afar off, and to them that were nigh, for through Him we both have access to one Spirit unto the Father. Ephesian 4:3-7 says, “Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling. One Lord, one Faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace, according to the measure of the gift of Christ.”

Second Redemption

Titus 2:12-13 says, “Teaching us that denying ungodly and worldly lust we should live soberly, righteously and godly in this present world. Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God, and our Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.”
