God’s Original Recipe
Do yourself a favor, stick to the original recipe and preach the Gospel as “it is written.”
We endeavor to teach and cultivate the desires of believers to grow spiritually through the written word of God rightly divided. We understand the Father longs to walk with us on the path to our destiny heart to heart. Kingdom’s Call is about teaching the original recipe of God’s word, not adding to or subtracting from it.
Sadly, many Churches today have added ingredients that they deem profitable. It’s unfortunate because their added ingredients have taken the focus off of our first love and the true gospel. In addition, this has caused the sweet taste of the word to become bitter and its beauty to become faded. Church decision makers have gone a step further, by changing “church and pastor ”to” corporation and president” and thus making the church a business rather than a house of true worship.
Many pastors and teachers are preaching and teaching the body of Christ to become focused on “self” and “things” rather than seeking wisdom and knowledge of what the word says about Christian living. Many churches are using the old testament law, works and fear-based, teachings to members in order for them to receive blessings from God rather than having faith and trust in God’s word rightly divided. The deception that to feel the Spirit of God, to come into His presence or to usher in His presence you need pageantry and production such as music, dramas, emotional enhancing technology, big screens and stage props. In addition to this the church sees it as keeping up with the changing times, they feel they must have “the show” to keep people excited and coming back. Let’s call it what it really is, it’s just a manipulation of the mind. And worse yet, they believe you need to abandon your mind to accomplish the supernatural connection with the Father. Make no mistake, they know and understand very well what the flesh desires and they have manufactured things and the word of God to prey on the undiscerning, unlearned, unchurched and undisciplined to illuminate their minds and worldly desires that wars within them. They do a beautiful job at having all they do appear very godly using made up words, twisting the word of God and quoting Hebrew or Greek words to amaze you into believing they are well versed in wisdom and knowledge. You can be certain they will always reinforce their belief and actions by the telling of an amazing “experience” of themselves or someone else to enhance the excitement to prove it’s from God. What a travesty that leadership joyfully and pridefully thrive on the profits from their deception, it’s called greed, power and control. To add insult to injury many have reversed the true meaning of love and grace to mean tolerance and unity. We are to be tolerant of same sex marriages, pastors who have been sexually immoral, adultery, embezzlement and even pro- choice views just to name a few. And unity now means aligning themselves with other faiths and organizations for the sake of peace and acceptance from the world coupled with ungodly agreements and oaths, none of which is found in the word of God as godly practices. The church has even resulted in lying and hiding ungodly acts of leadership to keep the members from judging them righteously. Look closely my friends and you will find many mega churches and organizations have even made up words and ministries to enhance their so called new found “revelations from God” while calling themselves Apostles and Prophets. Things like, grave soaking, feathers falling from heaven, gold dust, glory clouds, even hurting believer’s bodily in healing rituals, babbling in tongues which is completely out of order of Gods word, running through fire trains, raising the dead from ashes, talking to demons during rituals and so on. It’s wrong and they are deadly practices to the body of Christ. They market God by, charging for conventions, conferences and classes hidden with false doctrine and ungodly ceremonies only to profit for personal gain while deceiving the unsuspected follower. Additionally, there are the money changers in the coffee shops and book stores beautifully set in the church making it into a den of thieves
So, where does all of this lead us? It leads us nowhere!
The worse thing in life is not knowing where you’re going and killing yourself to get there. So, if you don’t know where you’re going how will you know when you get there. You’re walking around defeated and deceived.
Many believers today are walking around in a daze trying to figure out where they’re going. Foundational truth is on a rapid decline. It’s called truth by omission which leads to deception. Giving only a part of the truth to fit their ungodly agenda. Sounds harsh, but sadly it’s true. Contrary to the word, these misguided word of the faith healers, word of faith preachers, prosperity gospel and seeker friendly preachers have made worship about them, their own abilities and their vision for the church as being God given, yet it doesn’t line up with the word of God. Crazy how thousands upon thousands never question or seek to check what is being said as real truth. The real truth is that God has not promised us all health, wealth and deliverance from all afflictions and sufferings on this earth and in this life. It’s not because we don’t have enough faith, it’s because we live in a fallen world and we grow old and thus our bodies break down. What we have been promised is, everlasting life If we believed in the death and resurrection of His Son Jesus Christ. We were promised the Holy Spirit to come live within us to teach us, lead us, guide us and comfort us. We were promised by the Father that He would never leave us nor forsake us. Despite what God said, many churches today will continue to focus on numbers, Church planting and money as the first priority and all the while the body is losing their way. What ever happened to focusing on the heart? Do you really believe that God said focus on the numbers, the money and building big churches? Or how about charging for finance class only to get you to turn over your money to them when you die. Let’s not forget the deliverance classes filled with rituals, raising the dead classes and healing classes and so on. No, He didn’t, but sadly, the reality is, that in all of this puffed- up pride the church is missing the one thing that was commanded of those who taught and those who preached which is to preach the gospel (Acts 10:12-13). Instead, they have chosen to do things their way from the flesh, things that Jesus never did nor told us to do. Let’s take a look at the healing the sick for example. The Bible says in James 5:14-15 “To call for the elders to pray and anoint them with oil in the name of Jesus and the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up.” To add to that, Jesus never hit, physically hurt, knocked anyone to the ground or made anyone take a class to be healed. Jesus used the WORD of God and very few at that, and many times He only spoke two words. Take note, some weren’t even present when healed and it was their faith which healed many as well. Jesus was personal and compassionate, not loud and outrageous and out of order. In addition to this, Jesus never charged for healing or preaching of the word. Try to find that in a mega church today.
The truth is, it’s our responsibility to make sure we understand the Word of God properly and that is done by rightly dividing the word of God (1 Timothy 2:15). Inspect what you expect if you want the whole truth and nothing but the truth. This is what the Berean’s did. Berean’s sought the scriptures every day to make sure Paul was teaching the word correctly (Acts 17:11). We as believers have allowed ourselves to become lazy and disillusioned into believing that God will speak through a pastor as being the whole truth without ever questioning the validity of the message preached. Many preachers and teachers know that their members won’t take the time needed to study the message preached and these sheep in wolves clothing are taking full advantage of your complacency! We are not to put our faith in man as man will fail you. The Father has already done all the work for us, it’s our job to find out the details in order to become strong spiritually. We are to run the race well and to fight the good fight of faith to the end and that takes us choosing to equip ourselves through wisdom and knowledge from the word of God and that takes sacrifice, sacrifice of our own desires and time. If your choice is complacency, then rest assured Satan will continue to use people who seek to ensnare you with the half -truths in order to steal, kill and destroy you leaving you blind and spiritually dead. Remember, Satan tried to twist the scriptures with Jesus when He was in the wilderness, but Jesus replied to him, “It is written” and quoted it properly. Defend yourself, don’t just hear the word, know the word and do it, it’s imperative, James 1:22 says, “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”
So, in conclusion, ask yourselves, have you taken the time to inspect what you expect? Are you about truth and willing to do what it takes to receive it? Or will you have itching ears and listen to leaders and teachers of unsound doctrine who feed your own desires and turn you away from the truth (2 Timothy 4:2-5)?
Just remember, it’s not by chance, but choice that your future in Him is determined. In neglecting to properly seek truth you not only hurt yourself, but you’ll fail at properly helping others in need of a Savior.
